What You’ll Do
- Lead & Inspire
Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive Product Development
Own the roadmap for CNC equipment and other innovative products, from concept through end-of-life. Oversee product planning, design reviews, prototyping, testing, and implementation of next generation products.
- Plan & Execute
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance on mechanical design principles, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and more. Collaborate with our Lead Engineer on electronics integration, embedded software architecture, and controls.
- Lifecycle Support
Oversee engineering change management, product updates, and documentation. Drive cost reduction and reliability improvement initiatives. Work cross-company to bring the right improvements to the current product line to drive value, quality, and innovative life-cycle support.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred); exposure to Electrical, Controls, and Software disciplines, or vis versa.
- 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Hands on experience running traditional manufacturing equipment and CNCs
- Proven track record in mechatronic product development and CNC equipment design or design of similar systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, FEA analysis, and PLM systems.
- Working knowledge of motion control, software dev, and embedded systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with CNC machinery, automation, and industrial controls.
- Knowledge of servo systems, stepper motors, and feedback loops.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO, CE, UL).
