At Langley’s Tree Specialist LLC, we believe in creating a team of motivated individuals who take pride in their work. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hard-working Tree Groundsman to join our team. As a Tree Groundsman, you will play a vital role in assisting with tree care and maintenance services, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
We are currently working on powerlines clearance in eastern colorado and spend many days at a time out of town. Hotel room provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe removal of trees and branches using various tools and equipment
- Perform some tree pruning, trimming, and basic tree care tasks under the direction of a certified arborist
- Prepare and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order
- Clear debris from work areas, including cutting and chipping branches
- Help transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to safety standards and procedures
- Assist with general landscape maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tree care, grounds maintenance, or landscaping (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions (hot AND cold)
- Comfortable working with heavy machinery and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Flexible Working Hours:
Start time of 7:30/8 (end time varies depending on workday) , Monday through Friday, with typically no weekend work unless necessary. (winter hours vary start time)
