What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Shoveler position at Langley’s Tree Specialist LLC?
We are looking for dependable and hardworking Snow Shovelers to join our team for the winter season. This is an on-call position that requires flexibility and availability whenever snow events occur. You’ll be responsible for clearing sidewalks, driveways, walkways, and entryways to ensure safe access for customers and the public.
Responsibilities
- Shovel and remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and other designated areas
- Spread salt or de-icing materials as needed
- Work efficiently in cold, snowy, and sometimes challenging weather conditions
- Arrive promptly when called in during snow events (early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Follow safety procedures and team instructions
Requirements
- Driver’s license preferred but not required
- Flexible and available 24/7 during snow weather
- Reliable transportation to job sites or meeting locations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and dependability
