Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
- Monitor project timelines and perform project related tasks
- Strong documentation skills related to projects and operational procedures
- Install, test and configure new PC’s, software and network devices
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Report issues to the Network Administrator for escalation
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms
- Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, Routers and Switches
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in computer science or;
- Two or more years of experience as a computer support specialist
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Technical documentation skills
