Position Summary
The Bottling Operator III is a highly skilled member of our Bottling Team responsible for independently operating and maintaining bottling line equipment to ensure efficient production while meeting our high quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with several years of bottling line experience who is ready to take on a leadership role by helping train other operators and supporting daily production operations.
What You'll Do
- Independently operate bottling line equipment from startup through shutdown.
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, sanitation, and production line adjustments.
- Operate bottling equipment including:
- Bottle dump table
- Rinser
- Filler
- Corker/Capper
- Labeler
- Case packer
- Case sealer
- Case printer
- Pallet stacker
- Stretch wrapper
- Stage production materials according to product specifications.
- Monitor product quality throughout the bottling process.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate larger concerns to Maintenance or Supervisors.
- Assist with production documentation and recordkeeping.
- Help train and mentor Bottling Operator I and II team members.
- Safely operate a forklift to stage materials and move finished pallets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support Warehouse and Cellar operations as needed.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and company safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of hands-on bottling line experience required.
- Strong knowledge of bottling equipment, production processes, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to independently perform equipment setup, changeovers, and daily operation.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Winery or beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and a flexible schedule during peak production periods.
