We are a tight-knit team of approximately 20 employees working across the Office, Warehouse, and Packaging departments. We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our teams, keep operations running smoothly, and take ownership of equipment, facilities, safety, and technical training.

Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred, as many of our team members are Spanish-speaking. Clear communication in both languages helps foster teamwork, build trust, and support effective training.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities, Equipment & Preventive Maintenance

·                     Oversee equipment and facility operations to ensure uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
  • Manage the CMMS to schedule, track, and analyze maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate service schedules with Operations/Warehouse leaders to meet production needs.
  • Set and communicate performance goals aligned with preventive maintenance objectives.
  • Manage facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and production equipment).
  • Recommend and evaluate new technologies for predictive maintenance and reporting.
  • Review and update SOP training to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Minimize workplace disruption during maintenance and repair projects.

Capital Projects & Budget Management

·                     Recommend and lead capital projects for infrastructure, equipment, and facility upgrades.

  • Work with the GM on all phases of projects, including design, budgeting, vendor sourcing, and commissioning.
  • Work with the GM on annual maintenance/facility budgets and long-term capital plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Support long-term growth and expansion through effective facilities leadership.

Safety & Compliance

·                     Ensure compliance with OSHA, PPE, food safety, environmental, and all regulatory standards.

  • Lead sitewide safety programs, hazard identification, and emergency preparedness.
  • Conduct audits, manage corrective actions, and track safety training completion.
  • Partner with HR on incident investigations and safety education programs.
  • Maintain sanitation and environmental standards across the facility.

Training & Workforce Development

·                     Supervise a Technical Trainer responsible for equipment/SOP training.

  • Establish cross-training, onboarding, and skill progression programs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support long-term career development.
  • Contribute to succession planning.
  • Deliver training for employees at all technical levels.

Vendor & Departmental Relationships

·                     Select, evaluate, and manage vendors for equipment and facility services.

  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Represent the company during audits, inspections, and permitting.
  • Maintain strong communication with all departments on facilities-related matters.
  • Support sustainability goals with energy-efficient and utility optimization projects.

Skills & Qualifications

·                     6 years in facilities or plant operations (food/beverage manufacturing preferred).

  • 3 years in team leadership and maintenance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, PPE, safety programs, and maintenance best practices.
  • Proven success with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
  • Strong experience with capital projects, vendor management, and budgeting.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Preferred: hands-on welding, machining, or beverage equipment experience.

Work Environment

·                     Beverage production facility environment (wet floors, noise, temperature changes, high-voltage equipment).

  • Regular exposure to cleaning agents, hazardous materials, and alcohol-based products.
  • Must maintain a clean and compliant workspace.

Physical Requirements

·                     Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly.

  • Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs frequently.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet on platform ladders.
  • Regular exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Requires concentration, attention to detail, and frequent communication.
