Langdon Place of Exeter is proud to be under new local ownership and is currently seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activities Assistant who will also serve as a Bus Driver for our 14-passenger mini bus (no CDL required).
This is a wonderful opportunity to enrich the lives of our residents through engaging daily activities and safe transportation to community outings.
Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 A.M - 5:00 P.M
Every other weekend is required
Weekend shift differential: $1.75/hour

Key Responsibilities:
Activities Assistant:
Plan and lead recreational and therapeutic activities for residents
Facilitate group programs, one-on-one visits, games, crafts, music, and social events
Encourage resident participation and engagement
Document attendance and resident feedback using a tablet
Collaborate with staff to align activities with residents' care plans
Bus Driver:
Safely operate a 14-passenger mini bus to transport residents to scheduled outings and appointments
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle
Conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
Provide a friendly and comfortable experience during transportation
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an activities or recreation role preferred, especially in senior care
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Comfortable operating a mini bus (CDL not required)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic computer skills required to document on a tablet
Positive, compassionate, and creative mindset
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training or certifications a plus
