What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Master Plumber – 1099 Subcontractor (Water Filtration Installs) position at Langan Water?
Langan Water is a new residential water filtration company serving the Louisville Metro area. We handle sales, equipment, and scheduling. You handle installs.
The work:
- Install complete home water systems: whole-home carbon filter water softener under-sink RO (typically a half-day job)
- Pull permits under your own Kentucky master plumber license and insurance; you own the inspection cycle
- Flat per-install rate, all-in including permit fees
- Flexible scheduling — we book the jobs, you pick them up
- Steady, growing volume as we scale
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky master plumber license
- Your own general liability and workers comp insurance
- Reliable transportation and basic tools
- Professional, clean work in customers' homes
This is a 1099 subcontractor role, not W-2 employment. Good fit for a master plumber wanting extra installs on a flexible schedule.
