Lang Recruiting is partnering with a growing engineering firm looking to add an Electrical Engineer who can step in and make an immediate impact across industrial and commercial projects.
This isn’t a sit-in-the-corner design role — this is for someone who likes owning projects, working directly with clients, and seeing their work come to life in the field.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing medium & low voltage power distribution systems
- Leading lighting design and modeling for industrial and commercial environments
- Building out control systems (PLC, SCADA, motor controls)
- Supporting process instrumentation and system integration
- Working on backup/emergency power systems
- Contributing to alternative energy projects (solar, hydro, biogas)
- Running system modeling analysis (short circuit, arc flash, coordination)
- Creating drawings, specs, and cost estimates
- Collaborating directly with clients and contractors through construction
What they’re looking for:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- ~3 years of experience (ideally in a consulting/design environment)
- Strong foundation in electrical system design modeling
- Comfortable owning projects and communicating with stakeholders
- PE license is a plus (not a blocker)
- Solid with Excel Word (you’d be surprised how often this matters)
