Job Summary
The Medical Equipment Delivery Technician: Become part of a team whose main purpose is to improve the quality of life during a difficult stage of life. The physical responsibilities of the technician is to instruction and demonstration of equipment; pickup and delivery of equipment which includes hospital beds, respiratory equipment and wheelchairs; also cleaning, inspecting and testing equipment; and inventory maintenance.
Knowledge and Requirements
- 21 years of age or older, with high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior delivery experience in hospital setting or customer service preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license with good to excellent record
- Able to lift and/or push 80 pounds.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Complete Pre-employment physical/drug screening prior to employment
- Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Requires ability to problem solve in the field
- Mandatory Paid On Call Night Service Rotation
- 1-2 Saturday Shifts are required per month.
- English, Bilingual a plus
