shipping & receiving / copier setup tech

Position Summary/Objective
The Shipping & Receiving / Copier Setup Technician is a dual role. As the Shipping & Receiving Representative, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment of copier supplies that leads to a high level of client satisfaction. Also, as the Copier Setup Technician you are responsible for preparing all new copier equipment for sale, taking care to meet or exceed all established quality assurance standards.

Essential Functions
Shipping and Receiving:

• Perform accurate and timely filling and shipment of orders using manifest system.
• Assist in unloading UPS, SpeeDee, FedEx and ground shipments.
• Receive and put away supplies and parts daily in proper warehouse location.
• Ship parts for Technicians daily while meeting deadlines.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts of copier parts and supplies quarterly while maintaining accurate bin locations.
• Close out manifest system daily.
• Deliver internal shipments to proper personnel.
• Provide backup to other Shipping & Receiving team members when they are out including becoming cross trained in their areas.
• Attend required company and departmental meetings.

Copier Setup

• Perform assembly and setup of equipment utilizing the proper setup checklists, prioritizing based on the setup schedule.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during setup utilizing any resource available to ensure proper setup exceeding all established quality assurance standards.
• Test all functions following guidelines set by the setup checklist.
• Clean all surfaces of equipment to acceptable quality assurance standards.
• Perform all necessary administrative functions in ERP system and fill out all applicable documents to support the setup process.
• Move products in and around the distribution centers and to and from off-site storage.
• Accurately and completely follow setup checklist/guidelines.
• Order all parts and supplies needed to perform setup.
• Prepare all new product for delivery.
• Maintain and promptly clean all workspaces.
• Maintain 90% accountable time including approved training.
• Assist with delivery's when workload requires it.

General

• Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma and two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate's degree is preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electronics background/experience preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver's License, proof of personal insurance and an acceptable driving record.
• Forklift certification or successful completion of Marco provided Forklift certification.
