Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machinery such as industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care
- Handle materials safely using push carts and proper manual handling techniques to transport linens, clothing, and textiles throughout the facility
- Perform laundry washing, drying, folding, and sanitation processes following safety protocols and standard procedures
- Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly while adhering to safety standards in production environments
- Conduct routine inspections of laundry items to ensure proper garment care and textile cleaning quality
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by regularly cleaning equipment, surfaces, and storage spaces in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist with materials handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving large loads efficiently while following safety protocol adherence
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning processes, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to operate garment care machines including industrial dryers and dry cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and chemical use
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting laundry loads, and managing inventory levels
