What are the responsibilities and job description for the Response to Intervention Coordinator position at Lanesville Community School Corporation?
The Response to Intervention Coordinator is a full-time certified teacher leader who works to improve student achievement by supporting both students and staff. This role involves providing targeted interventions for small groups of students while also collaborating with teachers and school leaders to implement effective instructional strategies. This role oversees the implementation of Title programs in the school district, performs grant writing for Title grants and researches and identifies new or expanded grant opportunities. Completes documents, forms, and reports required by the grant. The coordinator analyzes student data, helps develop and monitor academic goals, supports MTSS practices, and leads professional development to strengthen teaching practices. Overall, the position focuses on closing achievement gaps, enhancing instruction, and promoting continuous school-wide improvement. Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Indiana Certification as a teacher
