Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director to join our team at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. As the director of our Dining Services Department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the department to ensure high-quality nutritional services are provided to our residents. Salaried role up to $32 an hour with weekly pay.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and serve all therapeutic diets in accordance with guidelines and regulations
Ensure sanitation, safety, and quality standards are maintained in all dining services areas
Educate and train department staff on all aspects of dining services functions
Formulate menu planning with guidance from dietician and ensure menus are accurately adhered to
Delegate authority to competent staff in your absence
Provide dining services for in-house functions and ensure quality and quantity of all deliveries
Demonstrate correct safety techniques and ensure staff compliance with privacy practices
Maximize employee potential and maintain up-to-date evaluations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completed accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association and state agencies
Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisor capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related medical field preferred
Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
