What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Assistant (FT) position at Lane Montessori School?
Lane Montessori is looking to hire a Teaching Assistant (teaching Montessori) from Monday through Friday in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The position is year-round (we run a summer camp in mid-June through the end of August).
Responsibilities include the following:
- The team teaches toddler and/or preschool children ages 18 mos. - 6 years of age.
- Supervising children in the classroom and on the playground.
- Monitoring activities such as crafts, storytime, and snacks.
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness such as wiping tables, sweeping floors, emptying trash, etc.
Requirements:
- Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
