Put your troubleshooting skills to work keeping restaurant kitchens running. Lane Equipment Company is hiring an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial foodservice equipment throughout the Austin area.
We’re looking for someone with strong electrical and mechanical skills who takes pride in solving problems, doing quality work, and taking care of customers. Experience servicing ice machines, frozen beverage machines, and soft serve machines is preferred.

What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment
- Diagnose problems and identify the repairs needed
- Perform preventive maintenance to help customers avoid equipment downtime
- Verify equipment operates safely and properly after service
- Explain repair findings and recommendations clearly to customers
- Complete accurate service records, including work performed and parts used
- Travel to customer locations throughout the Austin area
What We’re Looking For
- Experience diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong mechanical skills and a practical approach to solving problems
- Ability to work independently and communicate with customers and coworkers
- Commitment to safe work practices and dependable service
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime, on-call coverage, and weekends on a rotational basis
- Field-based position servicing customer locations
