| Job Title: | Instructor Pool - Early Childhood Education |
| Applicant Notification: | Division Information Our Social Science Division is seeking to expand its part-time faculty Early Childhood Education (ECE) pool, both online and in-classroom courses. The primary responsibility of the Early Childhood Education Instructor is to provide quality teaching both online and in-classroom in a full range of community college Early Childhood Education courses which may include; Introductory Childhood Education courses, Infant and Toddler Environments, Diversity Issues in ECE, Supervised Student Teaching, Administration of Child Care Programs, Child Development; etcetera.

| Position Purpose: | To provide high-quality instruction that meets established learning aims and outcomes for students in Early Childhood Education courses. Faculty are professional educators with the primary responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for all Lane Community College students. The relationship of the faculty member to the student is one of the teacher of record and facilitator of learning. |

| Supervision Statement: | Faculty report to a Division Dean, and perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the college. |
| Physical Demands/Working Environment: | This position works in varied environments. May be exposed to usual office, industry, education, and commercial working conditions that include noises, interruptions, equipment, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. May perform cognitive and psychometric work for more than six (6) hours a day. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Work safely. |
