| Position Purpose: | The Associate Vice President of Cultures and Belonging will have authority to design and execute strategies that drive measurable outcomes in access and student success. This position is responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive agenda that aligns with LCC's mission, vision, values, and 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, which aims to reduce disparities in student outcomes, enhance community partnerships, and improve organizational climate. The AVP will serve as the designated vice chair for the Diversity Council and will have supervisory responsibility for the employees of the existing Gender Equity Center, Multicultural Center, and Longhouse, and will work with these units in close collaboration with student affairs, academic affairs, and human resources. |
