Position Summary:
The Product Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Product Management team by executing operational, analytical, and vendor-facing tasks that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all product processes. This position works cross functionally across the organization to ensure efficient acquisition of all products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer product setup, product status changes, and product discontinuations.
- Maintain, verify, and update product data (pricing, categorization, descriptions, etc.).
- Communicate directly with vendors for product data, images, packaging details, labeling corrections, and warranty documentation.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret reports on product performance, lost sales, inventory movement, and returns.
- Audit product data and work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Track vendor compliance and resolve gaps (pricing adherence, forms, barcodes, image updates, etc.).
- Partner with the Warranty/Returns team to ensure vendor follow-through when issues arise.
- Work with Receiving, Shipping, and Warehouse departments to resolve labeling, inspection, and shipping discrepancies.
- Identify patterns and provide solutions for inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in promotional planning.
- Coordinate with Marketing and the Photo Studio to ensure product assets are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Manage recurring operational processes (lost sales reporting, warranty follow-up, product content updates, product status maintenance, etc.).
- Attend company events, trade shows, motorsports events, and vendor visits, and serve as a representative of Lane Automotive.
- Work in a team environment.
- Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations.
- Ensure established policies and procedures are followed.
- Participate in continuous improvement project team activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- 1–3 years of experience in product coordination, sales operations, or related support functions, preferred.
- Significant and detailed product knowledge of performance aftermarket automotive parts, required.
- Significant hands-on experience working on automotive/mechanical projects, required.
- Proficiency in SXe, Microstrategy, and other relevant software systems, preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software. High proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively (clear and concise) through writing, speaking, active listening, and presentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to approach conflicts with vendors, customers, and colleagues in a constructive manner.
- Ability to develop and foster business relationships.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work both independently, within a team, and cross-functionally with other departments/stakeholders.
