Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused Administrative Assistant to support our growing Human Resources team.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with employee birthday and work anniversary recognition programs
- Support new hire onboarding activities, including orientation preparation and HRIS data entry
- Help facilitate new hire orientations to create a welcoming and engaging experience for new team members
- Assist with employee offboarding processes and exit interviews
- Manage employee uniform (scrub) orders, inventory, distribution, and payroll deduction documentation
- Purchase, pick up, and organize supplies needed for orientations, company events, and office operations
- Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR documentation
- Respond to employment and wage verification requests
- Generate reports and assist with various administrative projects as needed
- Update organizational charts and company directories
- Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a Human Resources environment
Requirements
- Previous administrative, customer service, office support, or related experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with ADP or other HR systems is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 20 pounds when necessary
- Reliable transportation, as this position requires travel to local stores and our Garner office to assist with new hire orientations and company events
