Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacy Manager located in Columbia, SC. The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, managing pharmacy staff, ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. Other duties include counseling patients on medication use and administering immunizations. The Pharmacy Manager will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Experienced in overseeing and managing Pharmacy Technicians
- Strong knowledge and practice in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice
- Proficiency in preparing and dispensing Prescriptions
- Certified to administer Immunizations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Valid state pharmacy license in South Carolina
- Compounding experience preferred
- Proficiency in Pioneer Rx a plus
