What work will you perform?
The Bid Analyst on the Pricing Services team plays an integral role in supporting our Sales and Agent communities. In this role you will prepare bids, analyze data and make recommendations for the assignment of customer accounts to the Sales and Agent community. Your data analytical skills will allow you to provide market intelligence for all accounts and bids as required to help maximize business opportunities. Your organizational and time management skills will help you ensure you meet all deliverable deadlines, ensuring consistency and the highest level of quality. Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyze bids to determine existing agent participation and incumbency
• Gather recommendations for bid assignments from field and national account personnel and validate information
• Provide agents with market data to assist with competitive and accurate rating of freight lanes
• Review rates prior to submission to assure marketability and customer requirements are met
• Review, evaluate and respond as needed to all e-mails received in the course of the Bid Process
• Assure bid packages are submitted to customers with all required components by the deadline, timely and accurately
• Follow up with customer to determine success/failures on opportunities
• Answer calls through the Pricing Services phone queue

Required Minimum Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• One year of experience in a professional work environment

Preferred Experience and Education:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Two years of experience in Transportation/Logistics or Data Analytics
• Experience with Salesforce

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent abilities using Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s and formulas
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
