Position Summary
The House Person plays a vital support role within the Housekeeping team, maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of all public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces throughout the hotel. This position works closely with Room Attendants and Housekeeping Supervisors to ensure a consistently clean and welcoming environment for every guest.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, elevator banks, and restrooms
- Collect soiled linens, trash, and recycling from housekeeping carts and guest floors; transport to designated areas
- Deliver housekeeping supplies, linens, rollaway beds, cribs, and amenities to guest rooms as requested
- Respond promptly to guest requests and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Restock housekeeping closets and linen carts on assigned floors
- Assist Room Attendants with stripping beds and removing trash as needed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas according to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the housekeeping department storage rooms and equipment
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures in compliance with hotel policies
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned by supervisors

Requirements & Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred; onthejob training provided
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests; bilingual a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and early morning or evening shifts
- Dependable, punctual, and a teamoriented attitude
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for the duration of a full shift (up to 8 hours)
- Frequently push, pull, and maneuver housekeeping carts weighing up to 200 lbs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Repetitive motion including reaching overhead and kneeling
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents; use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
