As a Maintenance Crew Member, you’ll work as part of a team performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks to ensure client satisfaction and uphold LandServ’s standards for professionalism and quality.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Crew Member assists with the completion of daily landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and cleanups. Crew Members are expected to follow direction from their Crew Leader, work safely and efficiently, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

This is a seasonal position, with full-time hours from March through mid-December, with the potential for reduced hours or a temporary layoff during the winter months depending on snow removal work and project availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the crew to complete assigned maintenance routes.
  
• Perform tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, property cleanups, and other landscape-related scopes.
  
• Safely operate trucks, trailers, and landscape equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
  
• Perform basic equipment maintenance (fueling, greasing, cleaning, and inspections).
  
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles, tools, and job sites.
  
• Follow direction from the Crew Leader and report issues or concerns promptly.
  
• Adhere to all company safety policies and use required PPE.
  
• Represent LandServ, Inc. with professionalism and a commitment to teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement. Interact professionally with clients, the public, and team members.
  
• Perform snow removal and related winter work duties as required during the winter season.

Qualifications

• Prior landscape or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required; training provided.
  
• Valid driver’s license is required.
  
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
  
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork attitude.
  
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Work Schedule

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am.– 4pm/5pm, with overtime as needed.
  
• Peak season (March through December): ~40 – 50 hours/week.
  
• Winter season will involve snow operations or reduced hours.
  
• Weekend work is rare but may be requested for weather delays or deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits Summary

• Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
  
• Performance Review: after 30 days of employment with potential rate increase.
