Lawn Care Specialist

Our State College-based landscape company is seeking an individual with experience in landscape and lawn maintenance. We expect applicants to have a PA Pesticide Applicator's license and experience with lawn treatment applications and pest/disease identification and treatment. This position also includes bed maintenance of client properties, as well as the ability to work with other crews in common tasks associated with landscape maintenance. Applicants will be required to manage tank mixes, spray routes, client notification, and the completion of associated documentation. All aspects of the position require the completion of the tasks professionally, effectively, and safely.

Additional Requirements:

• A valid PA Driver's License.
• A valid PA Pesticide Applicator's License. Minimum Class 7.
• Reliable transportation to and from our State College facility every day.
• 2 years experience in landscape maintenance.
• Plant and tree identification, as well as and understanding of common lawn issues/pests, are expected skills of an experienced applicant.
• Flexibility with a daily schedule as the nature of our work, as well as weather, impacts the end-times of our workday. This is a full time position but weeks will often exceed 40 hours.

Hourly pay is based on experience in our industry. A Commercial Driver's License is not required but will be considered in an applicant's hourly wage.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
