Position Summary: The Hardscape Landscape Technician assists in the installation and maintenance of hardscape and landscape projects including patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor living spaces, and related site features. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in hands-on work, and are eager to learn professional landscape construction techniques. Position is full-time M-F 7am-5p during peak season.

Core Skills:

• Basic plant identification

• Basic materials ID/Use

• Basic planting methods

• Basic tool ID/Use

• Basic equipment ID/Use with operating compactors, saws, skid steers, and other equipment necessary for hardscape installation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with layout, preparation, and installation of hardscape features (paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, etc.).

• Load, unload, and move materials such as pavers, stone, gravel, sand, and tools.

• Support grading, excavation, and base preparation under supervision.

• Operate or assist with light equipment such as compactors, saws, and skid steers (training provided).

• Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, trucks, and work areas.

• Assist in planting, mulching, and general landscape installation as needed.

• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
• Participate in snow removal during winter season. Snow plow experience preferred

Experience/Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent

• 1 year of landscape experience preferred but not required

• 1 year general labor experience (preferred)

• Valid drivers license with <2 points (required)
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work in varying weather conditions.

• Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Bending, sitting, standing, climbing, walking for 8 hours per shift during peak season

• Working in all seasons and a variety of weather conditions

• Navigating a variety of terrains

• Lifting, pushing &/or pulling up to 50 pounds

Offered compensation: $19/hr - $24/hr
