What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Manager position at Landscape Workshop?
Landscape Workshop, LLC is seeking an Asset Manager to support fleet and equipment operations across our growing multi-branch organization. This position will be based out of our corporate office in Birmingham and will focus on fleet performance, preventive maintenance programs, inventory and asset management, acquisitions integration, and equipment lifecycle optimization.
We are looking for a proactive and operationally driven professional with experience in fleet, equipment, or maintenance management who can help improve asset reliability, standardize processes, and support operational efficiency across multiple branches. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, comfortable making repair vs. replacement decisions, and capable of managing both field-based and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in fleet, equipment, or maintenance management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing asset records, inventory, or fleet systems
- Ability to make informed repair vs. replacement decisions
- Strong communication and follow-through across multiple locations
- Basic Excel proficiency required
- Experience with equipment resale, procurement, or lifecycle management preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%
