We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stone Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, installing, and repairing stone structures with precision and craftsmanship. Duties

• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to determine the scope of stone masonry work required
• Cut, shape, and install natural and manufactured stone materials with hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
• Build and assemble stone structures such as walls, facades, fireplaces, and decorative features using mortar work techniques
• Install reinforcement materials like rebar for structural stability in accordance with safety protocols
• Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete surfaces as needed for stone installations
• Construct masonry scaffolds safely to access high or difficult areas during construction or restoration projects
• Follow safety guidelines rigorously to ensure a secure working environment on all construction sites

Requirements

• Proven experience in stone masonry with a strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating craftsmanship and technical skill
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, hammers, trowels, as well as power tools like grinders and drills
• Experience with concrete forming, plastering, tile laying, and stucco application is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret construction plans and schematics related to masonry work including building material installation and renovation projects
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry tasks is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to construction sites involving masonry work
