Job Overview
Landscape Doctor is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team on a part time basis. (2-3 days per week) If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in doing quality work, and like seeing the results of your effort at the end of the day, we would like to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep grounds attractive and healthy
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to support proper care and landscape design
- Perform landscape installation projects
- Maintain safety protocols by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety procedures during all activities
Experience
- Previous outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and grounds maintenance machinery
- Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards
