Estimating Admin

Position Summary:

Landscape Development Inc. is a leading landscape construction company in California and Nevada seeking a Landscape Construction Estimator to help build our high-performance team. We are seeking a self-motivated go-getter with superb communication skills and familiarity with construction unit costs, assembles, and lump sum pricing. The estimator will work closely with the sales team members to meet goals and support our company growth. Salary:

$16 - $22 Hr

Work Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Responsibilities include:

- Review plans, general conditions, schedules, scopes of work, site logistics and other exhibits

- Request and obtain quotes for all scope from multiple vendors and sub-contractors

- Enters takeoff information and quotes into the computer estimating system

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED

- 2-5 years of experience within the construction-estimating field or equivalent field experience

- Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings

- Ability to gather, calculate, and compile take off data for bid use

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task

- Construction management background or higher education a bonus

Desired Qualifications:

- Knowledge of plant and irrigation material, costs, and nursery sourcing

- Proficient with On-Screen Takeoff software

- Construction management background or higher education a bonus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
