Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Hand to support our building and hardscaping construction projects. This role involves assisting with various on-site tasks, operating heavy equipment, and following construction plans to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with building construction activities, including framing, carpentry, and other related tasks.
- Support hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
- Follow detailed construction plans and instructions from supervisors or project managers.
- Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
Experience
- Previous outdoor work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with building construction processes and techniques.
- Basic carpentry skills are advantageous.
- Experience with hardscaping projects is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely is desirable.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to safety protocols on-site.
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
