What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Process Analyst position at LANDSA Services, Inc.?
Overview:
- Facilitate process mapping sessions with project teams (business, IT, and vendor partner)
- Capture process flows (inputs, outputs, receivers, and senders)
- Work with the project teams to identify and document current state pain points and future business capabilities
- Document business capabilities, process flows, and requirements from group discussions, interviews, notes and existing documentation
- Document process flows using Mega Hopex process mapping tool (similar to Visio) is required.
- Provide support facilitating business requirement gathering, project planning and vendor coordination for strategic initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Provides business process analysis support to capture current and future state business capabilities, processes, and requirements.
- Facilitate sessions to identify the gap between the current and future state (people, process, data, & technology)
- Walk through process flows with key stakeholders to gain buy-in
- Gather process flow requirements from existing documentation, work sessions and one on one conversations
- Prepare executive level summary readouts highlighting process mapping updates and callouts
- Experience with transformation and continuous improvement efforts
- Experience in using Visio tool (or similar process mapping tools) for documentation of processes
- Must be able to work in diverse cultures from 3 different countries: Mexico, United States, and Canada
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business discipline, Master’s degree preferred
- 5 years IT experience
- 5 years of business analysis experience in technology, applications, or operations
- Knowledge and understanding of IT architectures and business processes
- Strong written and verbal communication (English)
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Experience working in a distributed IT environment
- Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Professional Experience
- Process re-engineering within the Finance function.
- Experience sunsetting legacy ERP apps to Oracle Cloud.
- Large Client multi-billion client experience.
- Consumer goods industry experience.
- Desired with Manufacturing of Food Products.
- Knowledge and understanding of IT architectures and business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication (English).
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Experience working in a distributed IT environment.
- Experience managing external vendor relationships.
- Experience managing outsourced vendor partners.
- Proficient with MS-Office, including Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Bi-lingual Spanish / English is desired.
