High and Dry Boat Storage Marina Fork Truck Operator

Lands End Marina is family owned and operated marina with 5 service bays, and over 100 wet slips & 120 dry slips. We are located in Apollo Beach, off of Apollo Beach Blvd, approximately 25 minutes South of downtown Tampa.

THIS JOB IS PULLING AND PUTTING BOATS IN THE WATER WITH A MARINA FORK TRUCK. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE HIGH AND DRY STORAGE EXPERIENCE WITH PUTTING BOATS IN THE WATER WITH A MARINA FORK TRUCK.

We are looking for a full time Marina Fork Truck Operator - who has a minimum of 1 year of Marina High and Dry experience. Must have exceptional customer service skills. This position is outside in the sun and will require lifting.

Job responsibilities include:

- helping customers when they arrive and depart from the marina

- selling gas to customers

- launching and retrieving boats using a marina forktruck

- washing both service and storage boats

- grounds maintenance, cleaning up, garbage, ect.

Qualifications...
- Minimum of 1 years marina forktruck driving experience

- Willing and able to do whatever we ask, including grounds keeping, cleaning bathrooms, etc.

- Must be good with people, and a have a very positive attitude

- Must have reliable transportation and arrive to work on time daily

What we have to offer...
Work 40/hrs per week, weekend and some holidays required, willingness to work extra when needed
Hourly rate based on experience, potential raise after 90 days with a favorable employee evaluation

Paid vacation for full time employees: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 3 years
Several paid Holidays, even-though some are required to be worked (double-pay)
