Carpenter / Fiberglass Technician

Landry Boatworks is seeking experienced Carpenters and Fiberglass Technicians to join our
growing team in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. We specialize in commercial and recreational vessel
repair, restoration, custom construction, and fiberglass work.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform wood carpentry and structural repairs on vessels
- Install, repair, and fabricate marine components
- Work with fiberglass, resins, and composites
- Repair hulls, decks, cabins, and superstructures
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work as part of a skilled shipyard team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry and/or fiberglass experience
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to lift materials and work in a shipyard environment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Marine industry experience is a plus but not required
