Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and site layouts
- Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Perform basic calculations, modeling, and data analysis under supervision
- Support project documentation, including reports, cost estimates, and permit applications
- Conduct site visits and inspections for data gathering and ensuring compliance with design specifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and environmental specialists
- Ensure work adheres to applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
- Assist with specialized projects as requested
- Promote a culture of stewardship, managing resources wisely in alignment with company purpose
- Contribute to proposals and business development activities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification
- 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering is a plus but not required
