A Day in the Life of a Store Manager

As a Store Manager, you’ll have a hand in nearly every part of the business. You’ll set the pace for the location, work alongside your leadership team to drive performance, and make sure your team has what they need to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You’ll spend your day balancing big-picture business goals with what’s happening on the ground. From reviewing financial and sales performance, working with Parts and Service leaders, supporting your sales team, building customer relationships, and stepping in when challenges need your attention. You’ll also spend time developing your people, identifying opportunities to improve the business, and working with other LandPro leaders to share ideas and best practices.

Most importantly, you’ll be the leader your team looks to. You’ll create accountability, bring departments together, and build a culture where people take pride in their work and in the success of the store.

Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right, support your team, and take care of the customer.

What You’ll Do

As a Store Manager, you will:

• drive the overall success of the location by executing the business plan and managing sales, financial performance, and costs
• lead, coach, and develop the management team and employees while creating a culture of accountability and teamwork
• work closely with Sales, Parts, and Service leaders to drive performance
• build strong customer relationships and help resolve elevated customer concerns
• communicate LandPro’s values, goals, and priorities while keeping departments connected and aligned
• support business growth through customer events, marketing activities, community involvement, and key equipment sales
• oversee the facility and daily operations to maintain a safe, secure, clean, and professional location

What You Bring

You’ll be a great fit for this Store Manager role if you:

• are a confident leader who can motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
• are a strong communicator who knows how to bring teams and departments together
• have strong people skills and can balance customer and team needs
• stay organized and detail-oriented, even when things get busy
• lead by example and aren’t afraid to jump in when needed
• are comfortable making decisions and solving problems in a fast-paced environment

What You Need

• previous management experience in Parts, Service, Sales or related field
• experience in a retail or dealership environment
• strong understanding of KPIs, financials, and operational performance
• excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills

It’s a plus if you have:

• agricultural equipment or industry background
• familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
• proven track record of driving growth and improving performance
• experience working across service, parts, and sales teams
