Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis
- Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data, working collaboratively with the survey team to maintain the highest data integrity
- Coordinate with the project team on the development and review of the field package, field procedures, and general project lifecycle
- Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis
- Work closely with Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to learn how to analyze final boundary decisions.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians
- Assist Survey Technicians I & II in task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination
- Communicate with clients and project managers, ensuring that project requirements are met, issues are addressed, and project progress is reported accurately
- An educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience (Easements and Deed Sketching).
- 5 years of experience using Civil 3D.
- Strong experience in data processing, including managing field data, performing quality checks, and preparing deliverables
- Hands on field experience with surveying equipment and workflows, with the ability to support and coordinate with field crews
- Surveyor in Training (SIT) certification preferred or actively working toward licensure
- Solid experience with boundary surveying, including research, analysis, and preparation of boundary deliverables
