What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Performance Coach position at Landow Performance?
Landow Performance (LP) is an elite private sports performance facility in the Denver area serving youth, collegiate, and professional athletes with a holistic, mechanics-first approach. From NFL Combine/Pro Day prep to return-to-sport and long-term athletic development, our coaches collaborate to deliver real and repeatable results without the ego.
We’re looking for a driven coach who loves being part of a tight, collaborative team and also has the entrepreneurial spirit to build their own book of business.
What You’ll Do
- Coach athletes across the competitive spectrum in strength, speed, power, change of direction, and return-to-sport progressions.
- Collaborate with fellow LP coaches to align programming and progressions (shared language, clear intent, zero turf wars).
- Build and manage your client roster: outreach, consultations, assessments, scheduling, and retention.
- Contribute to the LP culture: professional, curious, humble, and athlete-first.
- Create small-group offerings, clinics, and/or remote programs—LP supports coaches who build smart, ethical businesses.
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
- Are a team player who communicates well, shares ideas, and learns from others.
- Love coaching the details, and can explain why they matter to your athletes and clients.
- Have owner energy: you take initiative, build systems for yourself, and treat your clientele like a business you’re proud of.
- Keep athletes safe and progressing while having fun.
- Show up professional and reliable: on time, prepared, and consistent.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of hands-on coaching experience in S&C or sports performance (private facility, high school, college, or pro setting preferred).
- Current CPR/AED; nationally recognized certification (e.g., CSCS, SCCC, USAW, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Ability to assess movement and program intelligently for diverse athlete and general population clients.
- Clear, professional communication with athletes, parents, teams, and coaches.
What We Offer as a Facility
- Elite training environment with high-performance culture and shared standards.
- Access to state-of-the-art training/assessment tools including Hawkin Dynamics dual force plates, Proteus Motion, NordBord, 1080 Sprint, Woodway treadmills, Vertimax, Top Hopper, and Run Rocket.
- A reputation-rich brand that athletes and parents already trust.
- Opportunities to collaborate on camps, clinics, and educational content.
- Autonomy to build your schedule, pricing, and services within LP guidelines.
- Professional development with experienced LP coaches.
This role is ideal for coaches who want the best of both worlds: a respected team environment and the independence to build a thriving practice.

- Details on facility terms and revenue share discussed during interviews.
