What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Editor position at Landon Bagley Productions?
Landon Bagley Productions places video editors with companies that need them. Some clients need a few edits turned around this week. Others need an editor embedded with their team for months. We fill both, and we’re building our editor bench now.
How it works
You work through LBP. We handle payroll, paperwork, and the client relationship, and we match you to engagements that fit your skills and availability:
- Short-term: project-based edits and overflow work
- Long-term: ongoing in-house or contract placements, including temp-to-hire
- Remote or in-person: many engagements are fully remote, and some embed you on-site with a client’s team in Utah
You won’t be stuck in one gig. When one engagement wraps, we work to line up the next.
The work
- Social, marketing, and promotional edits, plus some long-form
- Captioning, versioning, and cutdowns across platforms
- Working inside a client’s review process and hitting their deadlines
Our track record
Our editors currently work in-house on a major Utah studio’s marketing team and on ongoing corporate accounts.
Who we’re looking for
- Strong in Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
- A reel or portfolio that shows your actual cutting
- Reliable people who communicate and hit deadlines
