Job Posting: High School Science Teacher Landmark High School: Landmark is a world-leading co-ed day and boarding school for students in grades 2–12 with dyslexia or other language-based learning disabilities (LBLD). These fall under the broader category of specific learning disabilities (SLD). We celebrate our students' differences by individualizing a program based on their specific needs. Each faculty member is highly trained and specializes in educating students with dyslexia and other SLDs. Position Details: 2026-2027 Science Teacher Position Description: Landmark School is interviewing candidates for a full time high school science teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. While a science degree is not necessary, the ideal candidate would bring a basic understanding of core components of at least one science content area (Bio, Chem, Intro to Physics), strong communication skills, flexible thinking, and a growth mindset. Science teachers are empowered to deliver the essential content of their topic in a multimodal way that reflects their passions and interests. Individuals who are new to teaching are encouraged to apply. Position Details: The position’s responsibilities include a teaching load of six teaching sections (classes/tutorials to be determined) and residential duties. Qualifications: BA/BS ideally in subject area, strong language skills, experience working with adolescents. Teaching experience and/or certification as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities is preferred but not mandatory. Comprehensive training is provided for all new faculty members. Compensation includes salary starting at $50,000 at the High School, comprehensive benefits package, and a fully subsidized M.Ed. program taught on Landmark’s campus through Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development.
