Maintenance Technician

We’re hiring a dependable, customer-focused Maintenance Technician with their HVAC certification to support daily operations at one of our multi-family apartment communities. Position Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Rotating on-call and overtime required (including snow emergencies)
• HVAC certification required

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly and professionally
• Perform general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and cleaning
• Assist with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
• Work closely with the on-site manager and maintenance team
• Follow all safety standards, company policies, and Fair Housing laws

Qualifications:

• HVAC certification required
• Previous maintenance experience (6 months) or related field
• Exceptional customer service skills with a service-oriented attitude
• Ability to promote positive relationships and trust with residents, co-workers, and company staff
• Always displays a friendly and courteous attitude toward residents and team members
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and ladder use
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to rotate on-call shifts and work overtime for emergencies as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screenings
