Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics and Mechanic Apprentices to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations. We are also willing to train in the highly desirable profession.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair and replace components such as engines, transmissions, air brakes, and AC systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy equipment and truck repair and maintenance is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- CDL is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
