Family Care & Arrangements
- Meet with families to arrange funeral, memorial, cremation, and celebration-of-life services.
- Guide families through service options, merchandise selections, personalization opportunities, and required documentation.
- Provide ongoing communication and support throughout the arrangement and service process.
- Ensure every family receives compassionate, professional, and personalized care.
- Coordinate all aspects of visitations, funerals, memorial services, graveside services, and related events.
- Work closely with clergy, cemeteries, hospitals, hospices, nursing facilities, vendors, and community partners.
- Oversee service details to ensure services are carried out accurately and professionally.
- Ensure team members supporting services are informed, prepared, and aligned with service expectations.
- Complete and maintain all required case documentation, permits, authorizations, and death-related records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling family information.
- Follow all company procedures regarding identification, documentation, and care standards.
- Serve as a positive representative of the funeral home within the community.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clergy, healthcare providers, cemeteries, and community organizations.
- Support efforts that strengthen family satisfaction and community trust.
- Support and mentor team members through coaching, guidance, and example.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, training opportunities, and operational initiatives.
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support the location and families served.
- Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Ohio.
- Previous funeral service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple services, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment in sensitive situations.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
