Equipment Service Technician – Shop & Field
$28.00–$32.00 per hour DOE
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Landmark Equipment is a locally owned company that has been serving Oregon businesses since 1984. We specialize in the sales, rentals, service, and repair of forklifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Service Technician to join our team.
This position includes a combination of shop repairs and field service, depending on our current workload. Some weeks you'll spend more time in our Portland shop, while other weeks you'll be traveling to customer locations in a company service van. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, fuel, steering, brake, and engine systems
- Complete repairs in the shop and at customer locations
- Accurately document work performed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers
Qualifications
- Experience repairing forklifts, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, diesel equipment, or similar machinery
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Own a basic set of hand tools
- Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
