Responsibilities
Sewing
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric pieces into giant inflatable shapes according to specifications.
- Visualize two-dimensional diagrams, 3D models, and pattern pieces as three-dimensional shapes to ensure accuracy and precision in the sewing process.
Material Handling
- Organize cut fabric pieces in preparation for sewing.
- Handle heavy piles of fabric using proper lifting techniques
- Perform regular counts of workstation materials to ensure adequate supply.
Quality Control
- Inspect final shapes for proper stitching, tension, and overall appearance.
- Identify sewing defects and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with design and integration teams to implement best practices.
Work Area Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized sewing area
- Perform regular machine maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Industrial Sewing Machine Experience †
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to use step ladders and stairs easily
† - Ideal sewing experience for this role includes Upholstery, Tailoring, Fashion/Apparel Design, or equivalent.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
