We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless project workflows.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Oversee construction site activities to guarantee safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and the use of HeavyBid or comparable tools for cost control.
- Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Construction management software for document control, communication, and project tracking.
- Monitor project performance through regular site visits, progress reports, and coordination meetings; address issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Ensure accurate project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs.
- Foster effective time management practices across teams to meet critical deadlines while maintaining high safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or similar software; experience with Schematics is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating techniques and cost control using HeavyBid or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for document control and communication.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; experience with Civil 3D is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of contracts administration and contract negotiation processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Effective project coordination skills coupled with leadership qualities to motivate teams on-site.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope changes while maintaining quality standards.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
