Skills, Qualifications, and Work Experience:
- Solid computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, Blue Beam and Procore.
- Valid and current California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
- Must be able to read plans, manage subcontractors, proficient in creating, updating and adhering to a schedule.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in accordance with procedures, with an emphasis on accuracy and proper follow-up/reporting.
- Detail oriented team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands.
- This is not a remote work position.
- Ability to work in the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble new project proposals, develop estimates and detailed quantity estimates.
- Set-up and attend job walk-throughs with clients and subcontractors.
- Complete subcontractor buy-out and subcontractor selection. Prepare and process all aspects of subcontractor processes including subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, submittals and RFI’s. Maintain projects/files/software in an orderly manner.
- Run owner/contractor weekly job meetings including timely follow up and distribution of meeting minutes.
- Oversee and manage the construction schedule on a weekly basis. This includes forecasting and identifying problems and determining the best solution to ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Prepare monthly billings and review and approve all job invoices.
