The Field Crane Operator will operate a telescoping hydraulic crane engineered to sit atop a lattice tower structure. This position is responsible for working on water tower construction projects by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience.
Essential Functions:
- Lift, move, position, and place materials
- Ability to work at heights
- Rigging knowledge
- Frequently climb ladders
- Ability to routinely work away from home
- Understanding of OSHA Part 1926
Non-Essential Functions:
- Understanding of various forming systems and requirements
- Rodbusting
- Concrete finishing
- Scaffolding and erection
- Signaling of cranes and other construction equipment
Required Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 3 years of crane operation experience performing lifts in heavy construction environments
- Must be able to travel frequently and work at heights
- NCCCO Crane Operator Certification
