Responsiblities
- Review and analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documents to accurately create a budget proposal to the client.
- Prioritize and organize deadlines for bidding requirements.
- Create, submit, and track prebid RFIs.
- Create bid forms to receive subcontractor proposals.
- Level subcontractor proposals to establish the correct budget.
- Coordinate with the project team to establish appropriate allowances in the budget for work not completely clear on the bidding documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs to review with subcontractors to confirm accurate scope
- Use quantity take-offs and company unit rates to establish budgets for work to be performed by internal tradesman.
- Solicit subcontractors for proposals to ensure competitive pricing is established.
- Represent the company on pre-bid walk-throughs to obtain pertinent information to execute an accurate proposal with existing conditions and owner’s requirements.
Requirements
- Proven ability to create a complete proposal for commercial construction projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 is required
- Must have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
- Must be self-sufficient, detail oriented, and highly organized
- Must have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
