What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Assistant PH position at LANDIS COMMUNITIES?

•Performs regular housekeeping tasks such as cleaning residents rooms, baths, offices, halls and
other areas as assigned, washes beds, mattresses, and remakes beds after resident transfers or as
scheduled. Keeps assigned areas neat and clean.
•Performs housecleaning and special cleaning tasks (scrubbing, waxing, window cleaning, etc.), as
needed or when scheduled.
•Assists in the delivery and collection of trash from resident rooms.
•Maintains adequate supplies for the department and reports needs for supplies/equipment to
Supervisor.
•Gives personal assistance to residents, providing verbal and physical direction as necessary.
Reports special needs to nursing staff.
•Demonstrates dependability, competence, accuracy and is observant.
•Adheres to compliance policies regarding confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and resident and client
rights.
•Complies with regulatory agency standards and applicable policies and procedures.
•Complies with safety and infection control protocols in all aspects of the job.
•Demonstrates understanding of the Code of Conduct and abides by its guidelines in all aspects of
the job.
•Attends in-services and team meetings as required for role.
•Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:•Must be at least 16 years of age.
•No previous experience required.
•Given that a substantial majority of Landis Communities residents are English speaking, this position requires proficiency in both speaking and understanding the English language.
